Jasmine Guy (born March 10, 1962) is an American actress.  is an actor, director, singer, and dancer from the United States. . Guy earned four straight NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her participation on the sitcom from 1990 to 1993. She is also noted for her roles as Roxy Harvey in Dead Like Me and Sheila “Grams” Bennet in The Vampire Diaries. On “Grey’s Anatomy,” she also played Richard Webber’s friend. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, to a Portuguese-American father and an African-American mother,  Guy grew up in Atlanta’s affluent historic Collier Heights area, where she attended Northside Performing Arts High School.

Guy voiced Ava, the queen of the cybersite Symmetria, in the PBS math-based animated series Cyberchase in 2002, and made a guest appearance in the Moesha spin-off The Parkers.
